PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
What to Bring
- Livescan Request Form with your ORI number (this is generated in the Clearinghouse when your employer initiates the screening)
- Valid Photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID)
- Payment for fingerprinting fees (fees vary by vendor)
Tips
- Ask for your Transaction Control Number (TCN). This number allows you to track your fingerprint submission and confirm it was sent to FDLE
- Check your profile photo. Vendors should take your picture during the appointment to attach to your Clearinghouse record.
- Follow up if needed. Most results are transmitted within 24-72 business hours, but delays can happen. Use your TCN to check the status through FDLE or with your vendor if needed.
